Varied Experience

Recent systems installed by Schardein and related to food processing include chillers for process cooling, air handlers, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Breweries, creameries, biotech and pharmaceutical plants and warehouses, computer data centers, and food packing plants are just a few of our clients.

In addition, Schardein has worked with refrigerated warehouses and ice plants. We are equipped to develop brine cooling systems, and have installed blast freezers and product testing rooms capable of creating temperatures to -70 degrees F.

Respect for the Environment

Schardein technicians were certified in CFC recovery practices long before it was required by law. Members of our service staff have passed EPA-approved testing and are qualified to maintain all types of equipment, both high and low pressure. Schardein also owns all recovery and recycling equipment necessary to work with CFCs in an environmentally conscious manner.
